Ark
Modern meaning
Seldom seen in modern logos, the ark is sometimes associated with the concept of sanctuary, especially for animals. Interestingly, the ark has historically been associated with the womb and with life.
The ark can be seen as representing God's justice (the flood) and also his mercy in saving Noah and his family. In Christianity the ark can be viewed as a symbol of the salvation worked out by God, through Christ.
