| In abstract logo design, few shapes are used as often as a swoosh - also called a swish or swoop. This wide use presents a problem in that the final product could potentially end up disappearing in a "sea" of similar logos. But that's just one side of the story. The reality is that the swoosh, especially since Nike, represents motion better than any other shape can ever do. The challenge is to use the swoosh in a novel way.
