Jannick Musa and team from San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic are a group of medical specialists in the different branches of medicine, such as internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, general medicine, urology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, endocrinology, sports medicine, etc. This dedicated panel of expert specialists are to provide support and firmly believe in enhancing the well-being of their patients, according to the philosophy of its founder.

Their mission is to provide health services to all patients, regardless of their economic position. Each specialist has official credentials and the years of experience in their area of expertise make them respectable of worldwide recognition.

In search of a suitable logo, Jannick and team came across our pre-made Reaching Logo in our Gym & Fitness category. The original design showed a vibrant figurine reaching out to a star in the sky, however they requested us to substitute it for a simple Caduceus instead, since they are practicing in the medical field. The Caduceus is represented by an olive rod, surrounded by two intertwined snakes and topped with two short wings.

The symbolism on the Caduceus still remain a mystery, however it refers back to the Old Testament in the Bible when the Israelites were bitten by snakes. In order to cure them, God then said unto Moses: Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole (Numbers 21:8-9).

We used two shades of orange, since it is associated with meanings of joy, warmth, enthusiasm, encouragement and health in this capacity. The two shades of blue on the other hand, indicate the search for tranquility above everything else, promoting both physical and mental relaxation.
