You send a lot of traffic to Biz-Logo.com, but not many of them are buying?
Here are two common causes:
1. "Bad traffic"
The term "bad traffic" refers to those folks who wouldn't buy a logo even if we sold them at a penny a piece. The more correct term would be "untargeted traffic". They simply don't want a logo.
If someone is searching for cheap used cars and you send him to Biz-Logo, we probably won't sell him a logo.
Ok, you already knew that.
But:
The kind of bad traffic that we see often is the kind that is almost targeted. These are people who are looking for something logo related, but they are not necessarily ready to buy a logo. For example: People who search for "free logos" or a logo designer with designer's block searching for examples of other people's logos in an attempt to find inspiration.
If you are going to put time and effort into sending traffic to Biz-Logo, you might as well get paid, right?
So pick your keywords and site content carefully. Attract people who are ready to buy a logo, even if there are fewer of them than people looking for free logos.
Example:
A site about graphic design terms would probably attract far more designers than logo shoppers. Bad traffic. A site that compares different logo design companies - now we're talking. That would be very high quality traffic.
2. Content mismatch
When they click on that link from your site to Biz-Logo, do they find exactly what they would expect to find?
Let's say you write a page about how great "pre-designed" logos are. You of course give them an example - right there in your article is a link to Biz-Logo so they can see pre-designed logos in action.
All good so far.
But do you then send them to the homepage and expect them to find their own way to the pre-designed logos? Most of them will probably find their way, but a percentage of them are lost, right there on the homepage, before they even had a chance to make a purchase.
If you talk about pre-designed logos, link straight to the pre-designed logos:

If you talk about custom logos, link straight to the custom logos:

You can even take it a step further: If you talk about real estate logos, link straight to the real estate category of the pre-designed logos:

As a general rule, don't expect them to click around on the Biz-Logo site. If you can, keep it down to just one click from your site to Biz-Logo. If you need them to click more than once, tell them exactly what to do. If you assume that they will figure it out, you are not making as many sales as you should.
- Take them by the hand,
- tell them what to expect and then
- give them exactly that.
